In some areas, each Earth Day sees many trees planted. You will also find that there are dedicated groups that are picking up plastic bottles out of our oceans. Imagine the disaster if our earth is polluted to the point that the air is unbreathable or there are reoccurring violent storms that reduce arable land for planting food crops. What is common to all of humankind is that we all inhabit this earth. In effect, there is no replacement so what we do to Earth lasts far into the next generation and so on. It is not only the responsibility of governments, but also the duty of each person to help care for the earth and protect its future.
We hope you find these short quotes inspiring and that they provide encouragement to you and to others to care for the Earth.
