Through humor, tenderness, and appreciation, this poem reminds us that love isn’t about perfection; it’s about connection.

Love Is Sharing Life

Poet: Catherine Pulsifer

Love is holding hands and kisses
Dreaming and making wishes.
Love is ice cream on your face
And me whipping it so there is no trace.

Love is the silly things you do
Even when you scare me with a boo.
Love is getting lost
And letting you think you're the boss.

Love is never placing blame
And your silly nicknames.
Love is laughing at your silly jokes
And visiting with your folks.

Love is you cooking dinner
And me, letting you think it was a winner.
Love is sharing my life with you.
Loving you and all you do.
